Tennessee Welcomes the Launch of William Hill Sportsbook

Tennessee legal online sports bettors now have a new platform to try out after William Hill was launched live into the Volunteer State. Tennessee has become only the 11th state where William Hill’s sports betting platform has gone live. The brand appears set to go head-to-head with Tennessee’s 4 other operators servicing the state, the licensed and regulated sportsbooks,  DraftKings, FanDuel, Action 24/7 and BetMGM.

“As we head into one of the most exciting times of the year for sports fans, the William Hill app will make March moments even more interesting for Tennessee bettors,” said Kenneth Fuchs, President of Digital for William Hill U.S. “We will have thousands of markets available, including for your local favorites, live in-game betting and daily promotions and bonuses.”

The William Hill launch in the Volunteer State may kick start a domino effect of upcoming sportsbook launches, with WynnBET and TwinSpires Sportsbooks also soon set to join the fray.

William Hill Sportsbook has been around since the 1930s with a rich history in London and the rest of the United Kingdom, but has been present in the United States for less than a decade with William Hill U.S. beginning as recently as 2012.

What Else William Hill Sportsbook Brings To the Tennessee Table

Tennessee becomes William Hill’s 12th US jurisdiction in which it has launched its online and mobile sports betting products. Illinois, Indiana, Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C all feature William Hill online sportsbooks. The company is arguably the most experienced of all sportsbooks operating in the United States today, and with support of the cash and exposure of its new U.S. partner, Caesars, the company looks set to battle to market share in Tennessee.

According to a press release to mark the Tennessee sportsbook launch, “William Hill offers a seamless experience that makes it easy and quick to make a sports wager and gives Tennessee sports fans a broad and deep array of markets and bet types, including live, in-game wagering.”

William Hill is self-proclaimed as “America’s #1 Sports Book operator” also brings with it to Tennessee some of the most secure and straightforward sign-up processes in the online sportsbook industry and a wide range of options to deposit and withdraw funds.

Looking Forward to How Sports Betting Evolves in Tennessee

Tennessee’s legal online sports wagering industry’s immediate future looks bright, with no slowdown on the horizon. WynnBET and TwinSpires are also coming soon to compete with the online sportsbooks that have been up-and-running since the November 1 launch.

March Madness NCAAB betting will undoubtedly provide the fledgling Volunteer State with a big boost and it seems that many of the state’s teams may feature heavily. Watch for William Hill promotions that will be set to feature March Madness betting markets heavily. Check out our article on the early March Madness betting markets here.

With William Hill’s launch in Tennessee, the Volunteer State’s sports betting market is taking another step towards completion. We look forward to watching potentially many of the other big online sportsbooks spreading their wings into Tennessee like Caesars, SugarHouse, BetRivers, Unibet, Barstool Sportsbook, TheScore Bet, PointsBet, Bet365, Tipico and many others.

The more sportsbooks that enter the Tennessee marketplace will make for more competition and a better deal for the people that really matter in the process – sports bettors just like you and me.
