Only a month after forming the first ever agreement between an NFL franchise and an online sports betting operator (the groundbreaking Denver Broncos and FanDuel deal), the Denver Broncos has wasted no time in signing up its second sports betting partner, with BetMGM to open a new Premium Lounge at the team’s Empower Field at Mile High Stadium through the agreement.
BetMGM, the leading brand operated by MGM Resorts and GVC Holdings joint venture Roar Digital, is set to add to its operations in Colorado and providing a selection of premium fan experiences to Broncos fans as an official partner of the Mile High State’s favorite sports team.
The jewel in the crown of the deal for fans will be the BetMGM Lounge in the team’s stadium, which will offer fans aged 21 and over access to a bar, with live betting odds on permanent and prominent display and staff on hand to offer exclusive assistance with the BetMGM online sportsbook app.
Other Premium fan perks, including VIP travel packages, and additional benefits through MGM Resorts’ M Life Rewards program will also be on offer to BetMGM customers, to run concurrently with collection of promotions to be announced a later date.
Colorado’s Denver Broncos leading the pack in NFL/Sportsbook Partnerships
The deal is seen to be taking a lead from FanDuel’s partnership with the Denver team, announced last month – the first ever tie-up between an NFL team and a sports betting operator – in addition to Betfred’s partnership with the Broncos that followed immediately the next day.
BetMGM is also set to gain access to the club’s digital marketing channels and a physical presence on signage through the team’s stadium. A new free-to-play predictions game, will be made available to fans via the Broncos’ official mobile app, and those taking part will be able to compete against one another for opportunities to win MGM Resorts prizes including travel experiences to the brand’s properties across the United States.

Colorado continues its good start to legal sports betting
Building nicely on its first full month in May, where the state’s sports bettors placed $25.5 million in wagers according to the official Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission report, the June numbers are expected to increase again once released, as the sports betting industry continues its upward trajectory towards maturity.
