New Jersey sports fans will soon have access to sports betting facilities via the BetMGM online sportsbook and betting app at their local Buffalo Wild Wings after the online sports betting giant did a deal to offer customers a new integrated entertainment and sports wagering experience inside their sports bars. It is proposed that BetMGM will come up with a specialized form of geolocation technology in order to offer Buffalo Wild Wings patrons’ access to a range of customized promotions, bet types and bonuses for guests that are physically located inside Buffalo Wild Wings outlets in the Garden State. Other than New Jersey, the deal is also expected to be offered in Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Tennessee and West Virginia. As sports betting continues to grow throughout the country, we look forward to further expanding our footprint in the space and activating our partnership with BetMGM in ways that make the experience at our sports bars second to none.” Patel wrote. As a part of the BetMGM promotion in-bar, Buffalo Wild Wings has also launched an exclusive in-bar channel called, OT Odds Powered by BetMGM, which will deliver sports betting content to patrons in the bar including live game odds in addition to fantasy league, live odds and other betting advice and tips. “As the largest sports bar (chain)in the country, Buffalo Wild Wings has the opportunity to pioneer sports gaming experiences for fans, and we are taking the first critical step on that journey through our partnership with BetMGM,” said Lyle Tick, Buffalo Wild Wings’ President. “This is a landmark relationship between two preeminent experience brands that puts us in a position to innovate the current sports watching experience to bring the best of sports gaming to our guests.” In states like New Jersey where online sports betting is legal, BetMGM’s ‘Blazin’ Bets’ complete with curated boosts, bets, and customized parlays will be available in-bar within its app version through each customer’s personal mobile device. In 2019, Buffalo Wild Wings began a multi-year strategic partnership with BetMGM, marking a unique partnership agreement between a national sports bar chain and the United States’ third-largest online sportsbook. Since that 2019 announcement, more than half a million people have participated in the dual-branded Buffalo Wild Wings/BetMGM free-to-play games.
