Two of the best quarterbacks so far this season square off Sunday in Seattle as Russell Wilson and the Seahawks host Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. Wilson has been ridiculously good through the first two weeks in leading the Seahawks to a 2-0 record while Prescott led a stirring comeback last week for the Cowboys. The fact Dallas had to rally from so much leaves a sour taste in my mouth, so I expect Wilson and the Seahawks to keep rolling along. Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys Betting Odds Russell Wilson has arguably been the MVP through the first two weeks of the NFL season as he’s dissecting opposing defenses like a surgeon. He’s complete 82.5 percent of his passes and already thrown nine touchdowns compared to just one interception. He has four receivers with at least six catches already this season, all of whom also have more than 75 yards receiving. The lack of a running game might be harmful to Seattle’s offense, but the Cowboys aren’t going to put a lot of pressure on Wilson when he drops back, so he’ll be able to stand confidently in the pocket and continue his sensational start to the season. What we’ve seen out of Dak Prescott this year is very promising for Cowboys fans, but he’ll need to be that much better this week against Seattle. The Seahawks have shown a weakness against the pass this season, but that means Prescott will need to take care of the football as well as he has the first two weeks. After rushing for three touchdowns last week, Prescott again has a favorable matchup for scrambling after Cam Newton ran for two touchdowns against Seattle last week. This game will likely fall on Prescott’s shoulders again this week, and the Seahawks defense is far better than what Dallas faced last week against Atlanta. These are two offense operating at a high level against defenses that have allowed a lot of yards and a lot of point so far this season. They both rank in the top-10 in points and yards gained so far this season, and both quarterbacks have played really well this season. I don’t think the 55.5 points the New Jersey online sports betting sites will be enough to contain these offenses, so I’m jacking up the points on the alternate totals up to 63.5 points and taking the over at +200 odds. Seattle Seahawks to win Dallas cannot expect to put out the same effort it has played with the first two weeks and expect to beat Seattle. The Cowboys were fortunate to beat Atlanta last week, and Prescott will need to be equally brilliant with his arm if Dallas is to stand a chance. Wilson should end up shredding the Cowboys defense with how well he’s played in the opening two weeks. I’m a dan of the five-point spread from the NFL betting sites in New Jersey, so I’ll take Seattle laying the points at home at -110 odds.
