My Prediction

Brendan Allen vs Kyle Daukaus

My Prediction: Both fighters love to grapple so I see this fight taking place mostly on the mat. Daukaus might very well have a future in the UFC but this fight is simply coming too short a notice.  I see Allen winning by sub for this fight, and if you’re looking to add value, this fight is almost guaranteed to end in a submission, either way it goes.

Gian Villante vs Maurice Greene

My prediction: This looks pretty straight forward as Villante will have his hands full with the much bigger Greene. I see Greene dominating this fight and winning by KO/TKO.

Sean Woodson vs Julian Erosa

My prediction: Sean Woodson is on a tear and is riding a 7-fight win streak. He has a 4.5 inch reach advantage over replacement fighter Julian Erosa. Erosa has been cut from the roster twice before and this may very well be his last chance. I see Woodson winning a UD here.

Luis Pena vs Khama Worthy

My Prediction: 1st round submission by Pena. Worthy has dangerous knockout power, but his defense needs a lot of work. Pena is also skilled enough to use his height advantage effectively.

Mara Romero Borella vs Miranda Maverick

My Prediction: There’s a reason Maverick is listed as an overwhelming favorite by the bookies in this match and it is coz she can dominate Borella standing up or on the ground. She has great boxing with swift combinations and she has the more superior wrestling skills.

Maverick will control this fight the entire way but will have to settle for a UD win.

Philip Lins vs Tanner Boser

My Prediction: Lins will be enjoying a four-inch reach advantage over Boser and that may be key to him winning this fight. Both fighters are known to be extremely patient and cautious so expect this fight to go the distance for a UD for Lins.

Jordan Griffin vs Youssef Zalal

My Prediction: In his past fights, Zalal had trouble with fighters who specialize in take downs. His main weapon is his submission technique, but Griffin has good submission defense and is the superior wrestler. Griffin will control this fight and win in all of the judges’ scorecards for a UD.

Kay Hansen vs Jinh Yu Frey

My Prediction: Hansen is on an impressive three-fight winning streak and is an exciting up and comer for the strawweight division. Frey struggles from the bottom which is where I think she will end up as Kay likes to look for the takedown. I have Hansen winning a UD.
