Marion Reneau vs Macy Chiasson Betting Predictions for UFC Fight Night 184

The women’s bantamweight class will showcase Marion Reneau vs Macy Chiasson on UFC Fight Night 184. Reneau is in the midst of a dry spell, having dropped her last three fights, while Chiasson has looked impressive in her UFC career thus far, boasting a 4-1 record. Reneau’s a solid value pick here for an upset and will come away with the win.

Marion Reneau vs Macy Chiasson Betting Odds

Marion Reneau vs Macy Chiasson is set to be the only women’s fight on the main card for UFC Fight Night 184 in Las Vegas. UFC betting predictions say that Chiasson will come away with the win, but Reneau is a great sleeper pick this weekend, and NJ online sportsbook reviews are offering good value to bet on her.

Reneau has struggled recently, as she’s lost her previous three fights and gets a tough date with a physically bigger opponent in Chiasson. The last time Reneau won was against Sara McMann back on February 24, 2018.

Three years is a long time without a win, and it won’t be easy for Reneau to snap her losing streak against Macy Chiasson, who top NJ betting sites and MMA predictions are giving the nod to win this weekend.

Legal sports betting sites have varying odds if you want to ride with Chiasson, but FanDuel is the way to go as they list Chiasson as a -210 favorite, besting 888sport (-222) and BetMGM (-213).

Given Reneau’s recent struggles and status as the oldest female UFC fighter, I wouldn’t blame anybody for going with Chiasson. At 29 years old, Chiasson is 14 years younger and much taller at 5’11”, compared to Reneau, who stands at 5’6”.

All logic points to Chiasson winning this fight easily, but there’s a couple of things about Reneau that make me want to roll the dice on her.

Firstly, she’s never been taken out inside of regulation time and has lost all of her professional fights by way of decision. She’s also used to fighting bigger opponents and is familiar with Chiasson’s Muay Thai-based fighting style.

888sport offers odds of +175 if you take Reneau on the moneyline and +300 if you think she wins by decision, which is a pretty good value bet.

My Prediction for Marion Reneau vs Macy Chiasson

Macy Chiasson is a tough matchup for Marion Reneau. Chiasson is a terrific athlete and the bigger fighter, but I think Reneau grinds it out long enough to snap her losing streak this weekend.

My prediction: I’m going to roll with Reneau winning by decision.
