Betting Odds

While the main and co-main events are certainly exciting the rest of the main card fights are also worth watching. You can catch our full betting predictions for the main and co-main event fights in our full betting prediction for each of those respective fights here.

The main card also boasts three more exciting fights: A woman’s bantamweight bout between Raquel Pennington and Marion Renneau, a welterweight matchup between Belal Muhammad and Lyman Good and finally a catchweight fight between UFC veteran Jim Miller and Roosevelt Roberts.

888sport has the following fighters listed as favorite in their respective fights: Pennington (-152), Muhammad (-125) and Roosevelt (-238). Listed as underdogs are: Reneau (+120), Good (+100) and Miller (+185)

Here are the remaining odds from 888sport for all other fights in the prelims.

Clay Guida (+185) vs Bobby Green (-238)

Tecia Torres (+165) vs Brianna Van Buren (-208)

Marc-Andre Barriault (+110) vs Oskar Piechota (-137)

Cortney Case (+100) vs Gillian Robertson (-123)

Matt Frevola (-123) vs Frank Camacho (+100)

Roxanne Modaferri (-123) vs Lauren  Murphy (+100)

Austin Hubbard  (+144) vs Max Rohskopf (-182)

My Prediction

For a fight-night event, this card is pretty exciting. While there are no bonafide superstar names there are plenty of fighters who are on the cusp of getting their chance at their respective division’s title.  With uncertainty around the top of several weight classes, these fights become all the more important as the fighters jockey for position at the top.

There are a couple of fights here that have potential value. One fight to watch out for is the Tecia Torres vs Brianna Van Buren fight. 888sport have Van Buren as the favorite (at -208) but Torres is capable of an upset.

Her underdog status might be due to the fact that she’s winless since 2017. While van Buren is still probably the safe bet, I like the value of a Torres bet. Torres is no pushover but after coming up against three former/future champions and one of the division’s best prospects in Marina Rodriguez her reputation in the octagon has quite clearly taken a hit. I wouldn’t be surprised if the more experienced Torres makes this a dogfight that she wins by split decision.

I also think Lauren murphy will upset Roxanne Modaferri in their matchup. Modaferri is an MMA veteran with 40 fights to her name but has never become champion. Her strongest weapon is her wrestling but Murphy might be too big and strong for her to take down. Even if she gets her down, I can see Murphy standing right back up. A lack of dynamism and athleticism from both fighters will ensure this goes to the scorecards with Murphy edging out the win.

Besides those two fights, I have the betting favorites as my pick for this fight night. Here is a small recap of the fights and my predictions for UFC on ESPN 11.
