We have learned a lot about these teams through the first three weeks of the NFL season. Our experts at USAlegalbetting.com have been studying each team over the first few weeks, and they are sharing their favorite eight bets heading into Week 4.
Below, we will share their picks, along with odds and insights to help you win big at NFL betting sites this weekend.

The Lions have looked sharp through the first three weeks. Their pass attack is fantastic, and their run defense is elite, but their secondary has some issues. While they shut down a bad Atlanta pass attack last week, they looked terrible against Geno Smith and a Kelce-less Patrick Mahomes. Jordan Love isn’t that good, but he is good enough to take the open passing lanes that the Detroit secondary will give him.

No one has been better on offense than Miami. They became the fourth team to score 70 points in an NFL game last week and have now scored 130 points. We would like them to put up another impressive number against Buffalo. When Tua was healthy last season, they had no problem scoring on Buffalo both through the air and on the ground. They have that same offense this season but with the addition of another speedster in running back, De’Von Achane. Combine that with a defense filled with playmakers, and you get a Miami win.
The Bucs lost on Monday night as they faced a fantastic Eagles defense. Things won’t get easier this week as they head to New Orleans to take on an elite Saints defense. However, the Tampa defense will catch a break as Derek Carr will likely be out. We saw them do well against the Eagles last week, and we think they can replicate it in Louisiana on Sunday.
The Vikings are our favorite bet of the weekend, as they are far better than their record indicates. While the team has some issues, their pass attack is among the best in the league. They have been outdueled in their first three games, but that won’t happen against the Panthers this weekend. Look for the Cousins-Jefferson connection to put up huge numbers, leading to a lopsided win for Minnesota.
The Raiders season has not gotten off to a great start. They haven’t looked good on either side of the ball, and that was on display last weekend in their loss to the Steelers. The Chargers are beatable, but you need to be able to pick their secondary apart through the air. Jimmy Garoppolo has Devante Adams but is not good enough to keep pace with Justin Herbert. Look for LA to clamp down on Adams, forcing Garoppolo to work without him while playing from behind.
The Cardinals had one of their biggest wins in recent memory last week. They beat a great Cowboys team 28-16, matching their point total from the week before. This offense has succeeded under Joshua Dobbs, but they will hit a speed bump this weekend in the form of the Niners. They are outmatched at every position, and their win against the Cowboys means San Francisco will be on upset alert. This game will be over quickly, leading to some easy bets.
The Pats defense has been fantastic, but their offense is a mess. While Mac Jones has shown some flashes of what the Patriots hoped he would be, he has been inconsistent at best. We do think the Pats are better than many people believe, but they don’t have the offensive playmakers to overcome a defense like Dallas. That is especially true with Rhamondre Stevenson’s lousy start to the season, taking away what was supposed to be the offense's top weapon. Their defense should contain Dallas, but a lack of scoring will lead to a loss.
This Seattle offense has been back on track after stumbling out of the gates in Week 1. Geno Smith has been playing at a high level, and Kenneth Walker III is starting to settle in. Their defense isn’t great, but the offense has been good enough to cover that up over their last two games. They’ll be able to do so again this weekend against a Giants offense that has been limited to 12 or fewer points in two of their three games. Geno and the Seattle offense played well against the Giants last season, and we see them repeating that this year.
