The NFL season has started with a bang through the first five weeks. We have seen the Niners establish themselves as a powerhouse, the Bengals finally find their offense, and a bunch of bad teams that seem focused on getting Caleb Williams in the 2024 draft.
Our experts at USAlegalbetting.com have been studying each team over the first few weeks, and they are sharing their favorite eight bets heading into Week 6.
Below, we will share their picks, along with odds and insights, to help you win big at NFL betting sites this weekend.

The Broncos once again proved that they are among the worst teams in the league by losing to the Jets 31-21. Their inability to stop Zach Wilson and the Jets is a very bad omen for this weekend’s matchup with the Chiefs. Denver ranks last in yardage and points allowed per game, and their morale has been broken. Their offense also ranks in the bottom half of the league, making it hard to see them going into Kansas City and being competitive with the Chiefs.

Washington’s offense has been better than expected in 2023, but their defense is a significant problem. Their struggles were displayed last weekend as they allowed the Bears to score 40 points in a blowout loss at home. The Commanders' defense has allowed opponents to score at least 34 points in their previous four games, which should give a shaky Atlanta offense all it needs to get a win.
As good as the Vikings have played on offense (aside from all the fumbles), a lot of their success has been due to Justin Jefferson. He has a third of the team's total receiving yards despite opposing defenses scheming to stop him. Jefferson’s play has helped Minnesota overcome a lackluster backfield, but that won’t be the case Sunday with the receiver heading to the IR. His absence will pressure Minnesota’s backfield and rookie receiver Jordan Addison more.
Seattle’s offense has been fantastic, but their defense has been far less impressive. They were able to bring a terrible Giants offense down in their previous but gave up 27 points to the Panthers the week before. Now that Joe Burrow appears to be healthy, Seattle’s defensive struggles will be exposed in a big way. While Seattle has a ton of talent on offense, they won’t be able to keep up with this improved Bengals offense.
If there were doubts that the Niners were the best team in the league, they silenced them on Sunday. San Francisco completely overwhelmed the Cowboys on both sides of the ball, leading to a 42-10 win. They have a lot of offensive playmakers that will be able to capitalize on a Browns defense that will be spending a lot of time on the field. Defensively, they should have no problem shutting down a Nick Chubb-less Browns team, especially with Deshaun Watson not playing.
The Cardinals started the season by impressing many people, but they returned to Earth in their last two games. The biggest reason for the fall-off has been their pass defense, which allowed Brock Purdy to complete 20 of 21 passes and for Joe Burrow to throw for 317 yards and two touchdowns. On the other side of the ball, the Cardinals will be without running back James Conner, who had been a massive part of their offense. His loss means the Rams' defense will focus on Dobbs, leading to a lopsided win for LA.
This Giants team is both bad and broken. They have been outscored 153-62 this season, scoring more than 16 points just once through the first five weeks. Things will be ugly tonight as they meet a Bills team that is good on both sides of the ball. The Giants lack the playmakers to compete with a team like Buffalo, especially on the road. New York has not covered the spread this season, and we don’t see that trend changing on Sunday night.
The Cowboys seem like a very different team after the Niners demolished them on Sunday night. They looked lost on both sides of the ball, showing they were not the powerhouse we believed them to be. We have not seen anything to show us we can trust Dak Prescott and the Dallas pass attack, which they will need to bear LA this weekend. Look for the offense to sputter, as the defense shows just how much they are missing Trevon Diggs.
