Vermont to Launch Mobile Sports Betting in January 2024

After legalizing mobile sports betting in June 2023, Vermont sports betting will go live on January 11, 2024, with three authorized sportsbooks: DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics. The state adopted a conservative approach, to promote responsible gambling.

DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics Sportsbook were all awarded six-year online operator’s licenses. A total of five sportsbooks submitted applications to the Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery, and those three were selected after a thorough vetting process.
