With the NFL preseason approaching, now is the time to begin prepping for the upcoming fantasy football season. Whether you prefer weekly or yearly leagues, finding undervalued players in the offseason can lead to big payouts. That is why we are sharing our top five DFS sleepers for the 2023-24 NFL season.

Below we will break down all five players to give you the information you need to start your DFS season on the right foot.

Romeo Doubs – Green Bay Packers WR

There are a lot of question marks in Green Bay currently, but we see Doubs providing a ton of fantasy value at a low cost early this season. Doubs had a lot of hype coming out of camp as a rookie last season but managed just 425 yards. A lot of that can be blamed on a broken Packers offense, which had a very unhappy Aaron Rodgers at the helm. Now Doubs will start fresh with Jordan Love and we see him becoming the young quarterback's favorite target. While Christian Watson is the better playmaker, Doubs will be Love's top possession receiver. A lot of this rides on how Love plays in his first season as a starting quarterback, but we see Doubs being the leading receiver for Green Bay in 2023.

Samaje Perine – Denver Broncos RB

While Perine will again be a backup, he will have a great chance to take the starting job in Denver. Javonte Williams is listed as the team's starting running back, but he is returning from last season's ACL and LCL tears. That means they will be careful with the young Williams, leading to more on-field action for Perine. He looked great in a limited role for the Bengals and can run and catch the ball, making him a dangerous weapon in the Denver backfield. Look for him to make the most of this opportunity to have the breakout season he has been waiting for.

Kenny Pickett – Pittsburgh Steelers QB

Pickett showed some flashes of his potential last season, but it was clear the rookie had a ways to go. Many of the league's top quarterbacks broke out in their second year, which will likely happen for Pickett. The quarterback will have a pair of fantastic receivers in Diontae Johnson and George Pickens and a solid running back in Najee Harris. Those players are capable of putting up big numbers, which will benefit Pickett throughout the season. We aren't saying he'll win the MVP, but Pickett will deliver way more value than his opening DFS price.

Calvin Ridley Jr – Jacksonville Jaguars WR

After a sports betting ban cost him the entire 2022-23 season, Ridley is set to make his return to the NFL with the Jaguars. The 28-year-old posted 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns in his last full season with Atlanta, and he'll be in a much better spot with the Jags this season. Jacksonville finished last season as one of the hottest teams in football, and it appears quarterback Trevor Lawrence is the real deal. Ridley should have no problem establishing himself as the top option, especially after missing over a year. Ridley's price will go up quickly, so be sure to grab him for Week 1.

Chigoziem Okonkwo – Tennessee Titans TE

The Titans' offense was lousy last season, but they got a significant upgrade over the summer. The team added Pro Bowl receiver DeAndre Hopkins to replace AJ Brown. This Titan's offense looked far better when they had a true number-one receiver, and they will have that again this season. Look for teams to focus on Hopkins, opening things up for Okonkwo. The tight end is big and athletic, and he could reap havoc on teams that are focusing on Hopkins. The 23-year-old played his best football in the second half of last season, a trend that will continue this season.
