Highlights

  • Kansas City should only be better this season as they add an elite edge rusher in Felix Anudike-Uzomah and a great receiver in Rashee Rice.
  • The Niners season will come down to the play behind center, making us nervous to take them as a future bet.
  • The Bengals may have had the best draft of any team.

The 2023 NFL Draft is officially completed, and bookmakers have updated their Super Bowl odds accordingly. The draft was filled with surprises, controversy, and a LOT of trades. While analyst continue to break down each pick, we are turning out eyes to the 2024 NFL Super Bowl to see who are the favorites with the rookie class now set.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, here are the top five Super Bowl betting favorites for the upcoming season.

The Eagles are focused on avenging their Super Bowl loss and have made a flurry of moves to help make their team even better. They used their top two picks to further boost their incredible defense, but they also completed a major trade by adding running back D’Andre Swift. While the back has had issues with injuries, he has shown he can be one of the most explosive in the league. While the Eagles open as the second favorite, expect them to be one of the most popular bets this offseason.

Buffalo Bills (+900 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

The Bills had a solid draft after last season’s disappointing end. They added a top-level tight end in the draft with Dalton Kincaid. They also bolstered their offensive line by drafting O’Cyrus Torrence. Kincaid provides Josh Allen with another badly needed pass catcher, while Torrence should help keep him better protected. We know this Bills team was already great, and this rookie class should only make them better. We think this could finally be the season they win their first Super Bowl.

San Francisco 49ers (+950 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

The Niners did not own their first two picks in the draft, thanks to their trades for Trey Lance and Christian McCaffery. They had a focus on improving the defense, but shocked many experts by taking a kicker with the 99th pick of the draft. They had some very high value picks late, but their season will still rely on finding a quarterback as they decide between Trey Lance and Brock Purdy. While Purdy looked great last year, he picked up an injury in the NFC Championship game and will need to work his way back. The Niners season will come down to the play behind center, making us nervous to take the them as a future bet.

Cincinnati Bengals (+1000 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

The Bengals may have had the best draft of any team. They went heavy on defense and should have several of their picks contribute immediately. Defensive end Myles Murphy will bring some pass rushing help, while cornerback DJ Turner II will help a secondary that had major issues last season. While their defense should be immediately improved, it was surprising to see them not get help for their offensive line. While injuries were a factor last year, their line led Joe Burrow to be one of the most-sacked quarterbacks in the league. While that is still a concern, the current odds for the Bengals may make the risk worth it.
